Why purchase from Survival NZ Ltd?
Convenience
We have done all the hard work for you, we have researched the market both here and overseas and put together a set of items that are ready to be used in any emergency.
If you took all the individual items and purchased them separately, it would take you quite an amount of time, some shoe leather and some patience as you evaluate the field.
With our Emergency Survival Kits, all you have to do is click a few buttons and the Emergency Survival Kits are on their way to you. It could hardly be more convenient.
Price
You are welcome to check for yourself. The price of our Emergency Survival Kits are cheaper than if you purchased the items individually, and this of course does not take into account the time that it would take you to run around the various shops to do so.
We have checked outdoor stores, camping stores, other internet based stores and even our iconic red sheds around the country and we are pleased to have found our prices are extremely competitive, and in many cases of better quality.
Product
We had a lot of fun sourcing the various products from around the world. We looked at solar, dynamo, faraday and other mechanisms for providing light and sound without requiring batteries, and settled for the good old dynamo.
The units can sit for ages in the cupboard, and after a few winds of the handle, you have all the light you need. The radio we sourced for the home or bach has not only FM and AM, but also SW1 and SW2 (Short Wave), meaning that you can pick up stations from around the world and hear what is going on there.
Awesome stuff! The dynamo torch can also be used to charge your cell phone, that is if the cellular network is still up and running.
The ponchos, waterproof matches, safety vests, first aid kits and the other items all had to be components that I would be happy to depend on in case of an emergency, so it did take a few trial and error orders before arriving at the current set.
Community Support
I won't lie to you and say that we are only doing this for the love of human kind, as we are a business and need to remain viable. BUT we do support a number of charities and pay 10% of our net profits to a number of charities at the end of the year.
There are a number of organisations in New Zealand and around the world that have volunteers that give everything to be able to serve our world. Our aim is to help those organisations, even if it is in a modest way.
